Join us for an evening of music celebrating Hispanic culture and the rich cultural heritage of our region. This special performance highlights the musical talents of St. Mary’s students while reflecting the University’s commitment to the study and appreciation of Mexican American history and culture through the Center for Mexican American Studies.

The Wind Ensemble will present the Texas premiere of Sinfonía Nomáda, a brand-new symphony for band by world-renowned composer Arturo Márquez. St. Mary’s University Wind Ensemble is one of the commissioning ensembles for this work.

This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to sit on during the performance.
