Please be aware of on-campus road and lot closures on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. for the safety of our 5K participants.

Road Closures

• The Rattler Drive entrance from 36th Street and the Fordham entrance off of Ligustrum will be closed.
• Barricades will be up at the entrances to the residence hall parking lots from The Village to Marian Hall.
• The Culebra entrance will be open to allow drivers to park in Lot G.
• No further traffic will be allowed during the race, and barricades will be set up at the intersection of Rattler Drive and Marianist Drive.

Fans planning to cheer on Men's Soccer at their 5 p.m. match should arrive by 4:45 p.m. to avoid entrance and road closures.

Parking Lot Closures

• Lot J will close in the early evening on Friday, Oct. 3, and will reopen at the end of the race on Saturday.
• Lot B and the gate to enter Lot B from Camino Santa Maria will close on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 4:30 p.m. and will reopen at the end of the race.

All on-campus residents who need to leave campus on Saturday, Oct. 4, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. are encouraged to leave by 4:30 p.m. to avoid these closures. All gates and streets will reopen at 7 p.m.

The Village Emergency Gate*

The West side emergency gate, located between Leies and Périgueux Halls, will be used as an exit point from the Village during the race. University Police Department will have an officer stationed at the gate to provide instructions to students leaving that they must exit to the right onto 36th Street.

*Note that students cannot enter through this gate, as it will be exit only.
