The Risk and Insurance Summit for Student Engagement (RISSE) is a seminar unique in format in that it brings a diverse group of industry professionals together with St. Mary’s students for roundtable discussions about relevant industry topics. The students will kick off each roundtable discussion with an introduction about the topic based on their research. Seminar attendance is limited to 40 industry professionals to assure meaningful engagement and active participation by all.

RISSE encourages students to build professional relationships, gain industry knowledge and strengthen their opportunities to enter the field successfully. The mix of risk management, insurance brokerage and insurance company representatives makes RISSE unique compared to other industry conferences.
