DESCRIPTION:The McNair Scholars Program is a federally funded TRiO grant fr
 om the Department of Education that supports first-generation\, low-income
  students and students from underrepresented groups in higher education. T
 he program offers support and services to help undergraduate students appl
 y to and succeed in doctoral programs (Ph.D.\, Psy.D.\, or Ed.D.).\n\n \n\
 nOne of the services provided is the opportunity to participate in an on-c
 ampus\, 8-week summer research program working with a faculty member in th
 eir graduate field of interest. The Summer Research Symposium is a showcas
 e of our scholars' work from the past 8 weeks. Please join us in supportin
 g our scholars' research interests! Lunch will be provided at noon in the
