The McNair Scholars Program is a federally funded TRiO grant from the Department of Education that supports first-generation, low-income students and students from underrepresented groups in higher education. The program offers support and services to help undergraduate students apply to and succeed in doctoral programs (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.).

One of the services provided is the opportunity to participate in an on-campus, 8-week summer research program working with a faculty member in their graduate field of interest. The Summer Research Symposium is a showcase of our scholars' work from the past 8 weeks. Please join us in supporting our scholars' research interests! Lunch will be provided at noon in the University Center, Foyer.
