This workshop will provide practical guidance on crafting effective prompts to leverage AI tools for various tasks, from developing lesson plans to optimizing communication. Participants will also explore a range of AI applications beyond ChatGPT. 

Learning Objectives 

By the end of this workshop, faculty and staff will: 

• Construct effected prompts using core principles (e.g. clarity, specificity, persona, context) to generate desired outputs 

• Develop an educational or operational resource using prompt crafting techniques (e.g. email template draft, rubric, lesson plan, learning activity, meeting agenda) 

• Apply prompt crafting techniques to create audio and visual content using non-ChatGPT applications
