This interactive workshop introduces students to the art of prompt engineering—the skill of crafting effective questions and instructions that guide AI tools to produce high-quality, relevant results. Whether you're using AI for brainstorming, research, studying, or writing support, this session will help you become a more confident, ethical, and effective AI user.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand what generative AI is and how it can support academic success
  • Learn the fundamentals of crafting clear, specific, and structured prompts
  • Experiment with different prompt styles for various tasks (e.g., study guides, summaries, writing ideas)
  • Identify common mistakes and pitfalls in prompt writing
  • Discuss responsible and ethical use of AI tools in academic settings
