https://lib.stmarytx.edu/FacultyResearchSpotlight ##oneresearchcommunity, #URC, #SPARCThe University Research Council is hosting a Faculty Spotlight Series in Spring 2025 to establish a one-school research culture. Like the New Faculty Highlight series, these sessions will allow any St. Mary's faculty member to discuss their research casually. Held in the Contreras Lounge, with beverages from The Pub, sessions are on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons from 4 to 5 p.m. One or two faculty members per session will present for about 15 minutes, followed by five to ten minutes of Q&A on their research work.
This can be about a paper being written, in the publishing process, or recently published. It can be about a course research project or personal research. It can be a practice session for a poster or a presentation for an upcoming conference. This is an opportunity to learn from each other and discuss the fantastic research around campus that may not be known outside your department. Please join us in supporting all our faculty research!
The presenter of this session will be Allison Grey, Ph.D. She will present on Women, Gullibility, and the Gods in the Ancient Mediterranean.
For more information on this series, contact Katherine Thonen at kthonen@stmarytx.edu.
