New to Artificial Intelligence? You’re not alone! This introductory session is designed for staff who are curious about AI but unsure where to begin. We’ll break down what AI really is (no jargon!), explore how it’s already part of your daily tools—like Microsoft 365—and demonstrate simple, safe ways to try it out. Think of this as your friendly first step into the world of AI.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand what artificial intelligence is—and what it isn’t
- Identify common AI tools in everyday platforms like Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Learn how to use AI for simple tasks such as summarizing emails, generating content, or organizing ideas
- Explore AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT in a safe, guided environment
-
Discuss best practices and ethical considerations for using AI in the workplace
