This workshop introduces faculty to UDOIT, a powerful tool integrated into Canvas that helps identify and fix accessibility issues in course content. Participants will learn how to use UDOIT to enhance the accessibility of their course materials, ensuring they are inclusive and compliant with accessibility standards for all learners. 

Learning Objectives 

By the end of this workshop, faculty will: 

• Understand the importance of accessibility in online learning and its impact on student success 

• Learn how to install and use UDOIT in Canvas to assess course content for accessibility issues 

• Explore common accessibility issues in digital content, such as images, links, and document formatting 

• Gain strategies for ongoing accessibility maintenance and best practices for teaching with accessibility in mind
