The annual Student Summer Research Symposium is Friday, Sept. 20, in the University Center, Mengler Conference Room.
The annual symposium is a great way to connect with your fellow classmates and faculty about research and to see all the hard work the student presenters have been doing during the summer and throughout the fall.
Our guest keynote speaker will present at 1:30 p.m.
The Student Poster Session is from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Keynote Presentation:
Consuelo Walss-Bass, Ph.D.
Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences; the John S. Dunn Foundation Distinguished Chair; Director of the Psychiatric Genetics Program, and Director of the UTHealth Brain Collection for Research in Psychiatric Disorders
Topic: “Understanding How the Human Brain Works: The Science of Growing Mini Brains”
