This workshop is designed to help faculty navigate and effectively use the Canvas GradeCenter for managing grades, assignments, and student progress. Participants will learn how to set up assignments, grade submissions, provide feedback, and track student performance using the GradeCenter features in Canvas.  

Learning Objectives 

By the end of this workshop, faculty will: 

• Understand the capabilities of Canvas GradeCenter 

• Learn how to exempt grades  

• Organize assignments into groups for weighting purposes 

• Control when and how grades are released to students 

• Grade assignments and provide feedback using the speed grader 

• Display grades as points, percentages, complete/incomplete, pass/fail, GPA scale, or letter grades
