Academic Convocation is intended to introduce new students to the traditions and expectations of our academic community the Friday before classes begin. The program is designed to be an important part of developing in our new students an initial sense of belonging to the institution.  Academic Convocation is intended to advance the centrality of academic life to the St. Mary’s experience.
